Predrag Jaredić Thrilled With Perfect Start as Vision FC Demolish Young Apostles 3-0 in Opener

Head coach of Vision Football Club, Predrag Jaredić, has hailed his team’s success after opening their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign with a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Young Apostles at the Nii Adjei Kraku Park on Saturday.

The Tema-Newtown-based side proved their worth with a dominant performance to fetch two goals in the first half and another goal in the second stanza.

Setsofia Aqwetey opened his account with a brace in the 5th and 40th minutes, while Naziru Alhassan placed the icing on the cake with the third goal in the 70th minute.

Speaking after the victory in his debut campaign, Montenegrin gaffer Predrag Jaredić lauded the overall display of his lads, though he expressed disappointment with the second-half output.

According to him, he is satisfied with the result while emphasizing the importance of the win.

“We created chances, but I can’t say I’m satisfied with the second half output; generally, I’m very satisfied with the output today and the result.”

The win is important to us because we have to win at home and the subsequent games as the season progresses,” Jaredić said.

When quizzed on his assessment of some debutants, Predrag Jaredic said he valued team success rather than individual players, adding that he was pleased with their contribution while expecting more.

“I don’t like to speak about players but rather the team because they are part of it. I’m satisfied with their performance, and they gave us options. This is what we want to improve in the league,” he added. 

Ahead of Match Day 2, Vision FC will make a trip to the Lenclay Stadium on Saturday, September 12, to face FC Ashantigold.
